Less than two weeks to the CD Release Party! This record was literally a couple of years in the making. There were many times when we thought we were never going to finish it. Now that Dreams and Debris is done, we are very proud of it and hope you enjoy it. Thanks to our friends and fans for sticking with us through the process….

We’ve worked really hard to put this CD Release Party together and it will be a party, so come celebrate with us. The Bourbon is a fun club with a great format. The bands are on early and then a DJ comes out afterwards, so there is lots of opportunity to have a drink with your buds or dance if you are so inclined. If you haven’t seen Matthew Mei & You Bright Minds, you are in for a real treat. He rocks! We’ll be giving away lots of free sheep swag too. If you come to one A Sheep at the Wheel show this year, this is the one.

You can now buy tickets online and from us in person and you can also preorder CDs. You save a bit of money buying them in advance. Also, if we manage to work out the technical details in time, people who preorder CDs will be able to download the songs early so they can listen to them before the big night.

If you showed up at Cheers last Friday because you heard on 99.3 The Fox that we would be playing, you would have been disappointed. There was some kind of mix up with the promoter I guess. It was all booked and ready to go when a week before the show we were told that it was going to be canceled. Then we were back on. Then we were back off. We’re not really sure what happened. Your next chance to see us play is at our CD Release Party. See you there!

It has been a while since we’ve blogged so I thought I would give an update on what’s been happening at A Sheep at the Wheel. For the last many months, we’ve put most of our focus into our upcoming album, Dreams and Debris. It has been a looong process of writing, reworking, recording and mixing our new songs and then doing all the other things involved in making an album.

We’re finally in the last stages and will be announcing our CD release party date soon. Stay tuned for what’s to come!
