So, right now it’s 2am on a Tuesday night… or, I guess it’s Wednesday Morning… come to think of it,  at what point do people start calling the night morning? Does it depend on if you want people to think you didn’t get any sleep, so you say “man, I was up until 2 in the morning”.  OR, “I was up late last night, I didn’t get to sleep until 2am”  What is normal these days in night/morning discussions?….. anywho…. I am writing this in fear that if I don’t, CoolShades will have a hit out on me.  Call it off!!

So, the Sheep have been rehearsing hard for the past month trying to get the big CD Release to run smooth.  You all have no idea how many songs we went though in order to come up with a solid setlist for this show.  For those fans who care, we worked on different versions of our songs “Bored”, “The River”,  ”Don’t Tell Me”.   While this was happening, we ended up writing a couple new songs.  Amazing how that works really.  Sometimes you gotta break a couple eggs to make an omelet.

We’ll have more about the CD release party up soon but for now I want to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out, bought CDs and generally showed their support. Special thanks to Patrick for stepping in to play the violin, Dorothy for selling merch, Matthew Mei and his band for getting the night started right, Tanya for taking excellent photos, and Shawn and Matt for mixing things up on the dance floor Special mention to KSam and his posse and our friends from Bend. Hope to see you guys again soon! If you have any photos or video of the show, let us know and we’ll post it on the site, facebook and myspace.

Less than two weeks to the CD Release Party! This record was literally a couple of years in the making. There were many times when we thought we were never going to finish it. Now that Dreams and Debris is done, we are very proud of it and hope you enjoy it. Thanks to our friends and fans for sticking with us through the process….

We’ve worked really hard to put this CD Release Party together and it will be a party, so come celebrate with us. The Bourbon is a fun club with a great format. The bands are on early and then a DJ comes out afterwards, so there is lots of opportunity to have a drink with your buds or dance if you are so inclined. If you haven’t seen Matthew Mei & You Bright Minds, you are in for a real treat. He rocks! We’ll be giving away lots of free sheep swag too. If you come to one A Sheep at the Wheel show this year, this is the one.

You can now buy tickets online and from us in person and you can also preorder CDs. You save a bit of money buying them in advance. Also, if we manage to work out the technical details in time, people who preorder CDs will be able to download the songs early so they can listen to them before the big night.
