The Burricane - Canucks Playoff Song

Posted by Joel  Published in News, Random

With the way Alex Burrows has been playing for the Vancouver Canucks, we think he needs a nickname. So we wrote a song about it – “The Burricane” by A Sheep at the Wheel. Here is your chance to contribute to yet another Canucks nickname. Please download it, share it with your friends and get the word out, so we can get the nickname to stick. Yes, it is corny. That is sort of the point.

We did a quick recording of the song and have it here for you to enjoy. You can also download it for free from our reverbnation widget. You can find this on our homepage (click on the “songs” link in the widget).

The Burricane - A Sheep at the Wheel

Here are some of the lyrics (more to come):

Batten the hatches

Board up the goal

There’s a storm front coming in off the West Coast

It’s the Burricane.
