Sore, Sore, Sore…
My father came to visit from Ontario. Since he had been here a number of times, doing the tourist thing was not needed. Somehow we ended up at Castle Fun-Park in Abbotsford. My sister Krista, my Dad, and myself played a round of mini-golf and then hit the batting cages and the driving range. Needless to say, I was pretty sore on Monday.
And then…. this is why I was sore!
….. and then!
I had the honor of playing with TWO bands on Monday night at The Roxy. First up was A Sheep At The Wheel. This was the first time they had played the Roxy and they had their game faces on. It’s been a while since this band had played a show, so we called it the “Reunion” show. All the songs were solid as usual….. EXCEPT, I may have accidentally missed a count in, and caused a bit of a train wreck. But the professionals in us got us back on track… it was quiet funny… After the show we got many compliments. It was great to play with The Sheep again. Actually, it’s always great playing shows with them.

After a short break with some stretching, (THANKS JAY for helping me with my “Baseball Injury”) I hit the stage with Signal and Sound. As usual, the show rocked. Without a guitar in Chris’s hands, he was able to get the crowd going and got great reviews from the audience!

During the Signal and Sound set, in true Sheep form, they decided to crash the stage and take some photo’s of me with the “OTHER” band. I thought it was so funny that after they took some pictures from the dance floor, they crashed the stage and posed right next to me DURING the set! Enjoy!

Ok Paul, how on earth were you able to concentrate with the other guys crashing the stage? I hope the guys in Signal and Sound weren’t too pissed off. I know I would have been. LOL!
I love that picture at the end. Y’all are awesome.
Do you guys have a twitter account yet? If not, you should get one…
It was funny as I saw them bombard the stage… hahaha…
