As some of you know, we’re slowly working on making our own music video. We’ve looked at a lot of other vids for inspiration. A friend of mine sent me this one. I think we can definately get some special effects ideas from good old David Hasselhoff here.

A non colored video, in a big city like New York or São Paulo(ha ha), with some things colored, like on the movie “Pleasent Ville” with Tobey Maguire…. I don t know if you saw it.
Slow images,on a video with images running too fast, I think people doesn t pay attention on MUSIC. The focus, for me ,should be the band and the music.
Even in a music video, though? I mean, seems to me the point of a music video is to do some sort of visual representation of the song. The CD is for the music alone….while the video is mainly visual.
But I may be way off here…I’m not exactly a music guru….lol
I m not a music guru… indeed. Its just my opinion. For me the video should be the scenario for the song and the Band.
Well yeah I agree with you…that was pretty much what I meant by saying it’s a visual representation of the song…a scenario for it.
And the band should definitely play some part in it….I like music videos with stories revolving around band members..like Electrical Storm…
that way you still get some sort of interesting visual (whatever visuals are needed to tell the story), but also get to see the band a lot.
But those videos that are just the band singing on some random stage….eh….those bore me. haha
