So considering the fact this has the same actors and practically the same name as The Shining (which I have never seen), I'll have to assume this is just a funny way to make the film look like a family film rather than a horror story. And they did a pretty good job of it...

(I'd have been totally fooled if I had never heard of The Shining. lol)
