Just in case you haven’t had enough, here’s a third consecutive u2 post in this blog. This time I’ve got photos from the vertigo tour at GM Place in Vancouver on April 29, 2005.

U2’s stage included a “bomb shelter” in the middle.

The video curtain.

Bono belts it out.

The video curtain again.

Bono strikes a pose

The Edge on a telecaster.

Bono trying to stop this girl from groping him.

A sea of cell phones during the song “One.”

I think the Edge was playing an epiphone sheraton during the second encore. That’s the guitar I play. Can anybody confirm this for me?
I also have a couple video clips from the show that I may put up as long as we won’t get sued.

Nice shots Joel! I wish I would’ve had a camera too…
Joel,
Great pictures. Thanks for the view and story.
Amazing shots Joel. Btw…its not “bomb shelter”…its “The Loop”…CK would concur!
Thanks for the pics! Cant wait till my first Vertigo show now…
Edge always plays the guitar he recorded the song with (so the rumour goes). Find out which guitar he used to record that song, and find out which guitar he was using.
It was an amazing show - glad I was able to go!
