I’m not a huge fan of the oscars but I did watch part of the show. I thought the speech Jamie Foxx gave when he accepted his oscar was probably the highlight of the night. Hilary Swank rambled on a bit too long–especially considering she’s already got some practice giving acceptance speeches. Another favorite moment was Robin Williams wearing tape on his mouth–a reference to some of his jokes about gay spongebob square pants being censored. I think he told the jokes anyway.
What were your favorite Oscar moments? Or do you care even less than I do?

I didn’t see the show, I forgot about it, and tuned in as it was ending…rats! But from what I have heard, Beyonce and Antonio Banderas stank up the show! Apparently she sang a song that is supposed to be in French…but sounded nothing like French! I also heard that Antonio and Carlos Santana did a nice job butchering the song that won the Oscar for best original song. The guy’s acceptance speech was to sing the song properly!
Did anyone see any of this? I missed it, so I really can’t say if this is true or not…
This was a lame year for movies. I have no desire to see any of the films that won or were even nominated. (Except Ray. I want to see that one.)
Nothing can compare to the eleven Oscars won by Peter Jackson and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King last year.
