It’s been a very good evening here for me. I’ve spent a nice evening here with a friendwhose initials are TV (oddly enough, he works in that industry too!). We’ve enjoyed a couple of very nice “Gordo’s” from City Cigar in Vancouver, and a nice bottle of Cab-Sauv. And to accompany these pleasures? Well, first it was “Muse: Absolution,” a DAMNED FINE ALBUM!!! And then to complete the audio perfection…U2’s “Elevation” DVD.
I can’t help but get chills everytime that I watch that DVD. It was so well produced and directed. I feel like I’m back in the stadium at the concert everytime that I watch it. Of course the surround sound helps too! 
Speaking of U2 and touring…there’s a few rumours circulating about the delayed announcement of the tour for “Atomic Bomb.” If they are true, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is no tour at all…which would be sad…but if the rumours are true, then it’s even sadder for the band.

Highly doubtful they are cancelling - as of last week they (U2 that is) where locked away in Dublin rehearsing.

No, I wouldn’t expect them to cancel the tour at all. Maybe delay it a bit though. According to Paul McGuinness (U2’s manager) it was just scheduling conflicts that delayed the announcement for so long.
According to a new post on U2.com, the tour will be announced on Monday. The tour will be starting in the SouthWest, which could be a good thing for us here in Vancouver, as they usually move up the coast to us!
I’m still waiting for the call to open for them…they must have misplaced our number is all!
